About
the Campaign The
Fleming for Texas campaign is aimed at what
we want Texas to be in the future—a state
of unlimited possibilities where our children
can learn, our adults can achieve, and our
seniors can comfortably retire.
I am
running for the Texas House of Representatives
because I believe government can and will
be a place where good things can happen. It
can be a place of great hope and promise.
It can be an avenue of help for those who
need it and must not be an obstacle to those
who don’t. Achieving the promise of our founding
fathers will not take a miracle; it will simply
take the willingness to work together to get
it done.
While
I look forward to the opportunity to
help
every Texan, there are four areas I’m particularly
passionate about. As such, I am going
to put
heavy focus in this campaign and in the
2009 Legislative session on the following
issues:
